Turftech re-surfaces 2 University of Auckland sports fields

Turftech have recently completed an ambitious project to re-surface and fully drain 2 sports fields at Colin Maiden Park belonging to the University of Auckland.  The work involved spraying out and removing the existing turf.  Drainage was then installed at 10 metre centers.  The fields were top-dressed with sand, scarified and seeded with the new warm season turf - Regal Stay Green.

Within 10 days the seed had fully germinated and within a month almost full cover had been achieved.  The work from spraying to seeding was all completed within a month.
